The renovation of the office and residential building of the Permanent Representative Office of China to the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (hereinafter referred to as the Industrial Development Building) was designed by the Austrian Civil architecture firm Hubner。According to the needs of the owners, the design plan is to build two new buildings at the corner of the street。A ground building facing east4The first floor is an office building, a ground building facing south6The first floor is the staff dormitory building。The total floor area of the new office building is3780Square meterThere are garden greening, carport, terrace and other facilities。

The architectural style of the building is modern and fashionable, while drawing on the facade philosophy of epidermism, the exterior surfaces of the two functional areas are treated with two different surface textures, which are naturally differentiated, and both architectural styles are in line with the identity and historical origins of UNIDO。The facade of the two parts of the building is also focused on the style of Windows。But the whole is still unified, quite lively and relaxed, giving people a feeling of fashion and pleasure。

The new building is functional and complete, with a high level of intelligent office and comfortable living conditions, and the concept of environmental protection is very advanced。For example, its lighting system can achieve no lighting dead corners without artificial lighting。At the same time, the architect integrated a large number of Chinese elements into the architectural scheme, the tower shaped courtyard staircase and the moon gate are the finishing touches。It can also be regarded as an attempt to relocate with regionalism。
